This webinar with Dr Caroline Gibson and Dr Lana Karpova  includes some theory of hormone regulation, update on research related to lifestyle-related health conditions affecting female patients, and discussion about what evidence-based lifestyle medicine can offer for management of these conditions. This information will be useful for all healthcare professionals working with female patients.
The audience will gain basic knowledge of six pillars of lifestyle medicine, including nutrition with a predominantly whole-food plant-based diet, regular physical activity, adequate sleep, stress management, avoidance of risky substance use, and use of other non-drug modalities that promote health and prevent diseases in women specifically, like osteoporosis, urogenital symptoms etc.
