The increasing recognition of post-COVID syndrome as a significant health concern has reinforced the important of multidisciplinary approach to health.
Post-Covid Syndrome or “Long- Covid” is a multi-system disease, affecting about 5% of people infected with COVID-19. Some patients have serious sequelae, such as thrombosis, lung fibrosis or the consequences of a prolonged hospital or ITU admission. However, most patients have a non-specific clinical picture often dominated by fatigue and breathlessness, a variety of neurocognitive symptoms, mental health difficulties and a myriad of other symptoms.
During this webinar with Dr Caroline Gibson and Dr Kate Holliman we will introduce and discuss recommendations for lifestyle interventions in the management of post-COVID, and explore how they can be applied in clinical practice in both primary care and in specialist centres.
