Dr. Muna Barakat is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Pharmacy at Applied science private university (ASU), Amman, Jordan. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Jordan in 2007. Then, she finished her master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy from the same University in 2009. In the same year, Muna was employed as a full-time lecturer at the University of Jordan in the Clinical and Biopharmaceutics department; in parallel, she was working as a clinical preceptor at the University of Jordan Hospital in the cardiology and critical care units. In 2018, Muna was awarded a Ph.D. degree in Physiology and Therapeutic Immunology from Queen's University Belfast, UK. In 2021, Muna was assigned as the head of the pharmacy practice group at ASU 2019 and as an advisory board member in the international IVPN-NETWORK 2020. Recently, Dr. Barakat has been assigned as assistant dean of scientific research and graduate studies. She had participated in several national and international conferences and had many high-ranked publications in pharmacy practice and public health.
