Dr. Sally Sayed started her career in 2007 as a community pharmacist in her own community pharmacy for about 8 years but she felt unsatisfied about the scientific knowledge she had so she decided to gain more knowledge especially about clinical pharmacotherapy, so she started studying clinical pharmacotherapy and passed the exam of American board of clinical pharmacotherapy and became board certified pharmacotherapy specialist from board of pharmacy specialties, APhA and worked as clinical pharmacist in El-Nile El-Badrawy Hospital.

At this point she realized the importance of continuous learning for the pharmacists especially for those who want to improve their knowledge but they don’t know how to do that and she decided to do two things first one to continue gaining more knowledge as long as she can and the second one to deliver the knowledge she has to other pharmacists, so she became board certified infectious diseases specialist from board of pharmacy specialties, APhA, the 1st Egyptian who became a self care specialist from pharmCon &ACPE, 1st Egyptian who became board certified medication therapy management specialist, certified diabetes educator from IDF school & EACCME, certified teaching certificate for pharmacist from ASHP & University of Kentucky and became a certified mentor for 3 pharmacists.

She also formulated her own courses in vaccine advisor course anticoagulant stewardship course and over the counter(OTC) course and teach it to pharmacists. She taught clinical pharmacotherapy in Zewail city of science and technology. She trained clinical pharmacists in El-Ghandor hospital and Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab hospital. She taught and trained more than three thousands pharmacists in her career, and due to her efforts in educational process for pharmacist she was honored in pharmacy EXPO 2020 conference for her educational excellence.
