Dr. Kheir is an Professor of Pharmacy Practice in the College of Pharmacy, Ajman University, UAE, and also is the Manager of the Student Success Center at the University. He is the Academic Director of Postgraduate Program at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Dr. Kheir was the Coordinator of the Continuing Professional Development Program in the College of Pharmacy; Qatar University and was a founding member of the College and the Founding Chair of its Clinical Pharmacy and Practice section. He holds Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy and PhD from Otago University, New Zealand, and Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education from The University of New South Wales, Australia.
Dr. Kheir’s research interests are in the areas of social pharmacy, professional behavioral theories and models, community pharmacy service development, health outcomes, ethics and professionalism in pharmacy practice and the application and evaluation of Pharmaceutical Care. He has over 100 published peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, and conference proceedings and was invited speaker in numerous international scientific conferences and seminars.
