Dr. Hamzah Alzubaidi currently works as an assistant professor at the College of Pharmacy, University of Sharjah. Dr Alzubaidi has more than 5 years of experience in applied behavioural research, focusing on health services and population health fields particularly in diabetes and CVD. Dr. Alzubaidi is currently leading a multidispensary research group at the University of Sharjah focusing on improving health care delivery and chronic disease management. Dr. Alzubaidi has extensive experience in qualitative research methods. In his latest diabetes and CVD risk assessment research project, the speaker is working with Prof Ines Krass, Dr. Kevin Mc Namara, and Prof Rifat Atun to develop an effective and culturally-appropriate pharmacy-based screening program.
