Thyroiditis is swelling (inflammation) of the thyroid gland. It causes either unusually high or low levels of thyroid hormones in the blood.
There is many kinds of Thyroiditis such as (Hashimoto , Radiation, Acute ,subacute,etc) .
The symptoms depends on the phase (Hyperthyroid phase ,Hypothyroid phase),Treatments for this disease depend on the type of thyroiditis include medical and surgical treatment.
